Ellie Goulding has shared a new selfie in a black crop top and underwear on Instagram Stories, six months after giving birth to her second child.
The 39-year-old British singer posted the photograph to her social media account following the arrival of her baby daughter, Iris Edaline, earlier this year.

Goulding welcomed her daughter with her boyfriend, 29-year-old actor Beau Minniear, on March 6 at the Lindo Wing in London. The couple later confirmed the baby's full name through a formal birth announcement published in The Times, which read: "Minniear-Goulding: On 6th March 2026 to Ellie Goulding and Beau Minniear, a daughter, Iris Edaline."

Birth of daughter Iris Edaline and relationship with Beau Minniear
The Lindo Wing is the private maternity ward at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, central London, long known as the hospital unit chosen by high-profile parents and members of the British royal family. Publishing a formal birth notice in the pages of The Times, the London-based daily national newspaper, is a longstanding British tradition among public figures marking a new arrival.
Goulding and Minniear were first romantically linked in July 2025 before going public with their relationship two months later in September 2025. Iris Edaline is Goulding's second child. The singer is also mother to a five-year-old son, Arthur, from her marriage to her ex-husband, British art dealer Caspar Jopling.
Instagram photos and message to fans
The latest Instagram Stories post follows a set of three photographs Goulding shared on Instagram last month to celebrate the release of her sixth studio album, I Know Too Much. In those images, which were taken by Minniear, the singer posed in a floaty white minidress that offered a glimpse of her underwear.
Alongside the three photographs, Goulding wrote a lengthy message to her followers reflecting on her songwriting career since childhood. "Hello to new fans and my loyal babies," she wrote in the caption. "Happy to present new songs to you. Since I was eight I've been writing out my thoughts, or figuring out the awesome art of pop songs, just me and my guitar, and I escaped from horrors and found joy in equal measure in every one of them (even if the song never came to light, valuable days upon days in the studio with writers and producers I love)."
She continued in the post: "I celebrate the freedom I have in weaving my voice and my words into these different soundscapes and I celebrate having you all with me on this journey to listen. We grow together. There's nothing more potent than that since all I ever wanted was to be a singer and hopefully have a stage and an audience to do it."
Goulding concluded her note by thanking her audience for their support: "I've achieved that and more, and not a day goes by I'm not grateful for you and for the chance to do it. Thank you endlessly for your support and love, can't tell you how much it means to me."
Sixth studio album I Know Too Much
Released in September, I Know Too Much marks Goulding's return to recording and consists of ten tracks. One of the songs on the album was inspired by her relationship with Minniear, while another track, "Black Prada Dress", received its first live performance at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2026, the British broadcaster's annual music festival.
Born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford, England, the singer-songwriter rose to prominence in 2010 with her debut studio album, Lights, and became one of Britain's best-selling solo artists through hits including "Lights", "Burn" and "Love Me Like You Do". Prior to I Know Too Much, she released four subsequent studio albums: Halcyon in 2012, Delirium in 2015, Brightest Blue in 2020 and Higher Than Heaven in 2023.
Goulding has previously described I Know Too Much as a "divorce album" and confirmed that the record addresses her split from Jopling. Speaking about the songwriting process after their marriage ended, she said: "When I married my ex-husband, I thought it was for life. That will never go away and that will always stay with me. There are some songs that are necessary for me to acknowledge that time in my life and to be respectful of it..."
She noted that not every song written during the breakup suited the final record: "Then there were some songs that were extremely reactionary and sad that I felt were good to do in the moment but don't serve me long-term."
Reflecting on the title track and themes of the album, Goulding continued: "It's probably the most honest song I've written. It is what it is. I know too much. It's tongue in cheek, but it's also some kind of comment on my life so far, and music." She added: "I always like to write about love and heartbreak."
Divorce from Caspar Jopling and co-parenting
Goulding and Jopling finalised their divorce in January 2025. Despite the end of their marriage, the former couple remain on good terms as they co-parent their son Arthur.
Jopling has since moved on with 42-year-old American actress and filmmaker Olivia Wilde, who is known for her television role on House and for directing the films Booksmart and Don't Worry Darling. Jopling and Wilde were spotted spending a Valentine's Day weekend together in Mexico City in February.
