In an interview with Grigoris Arnaoutoglou, Foureira said she grew up with fear about her origin and believed she would not have the same opportunities if she disclosed she was from Albania. She said she did not want to remember that period because she cried a lot, adding that Giorgos Arsenakos was among the people who gave her the strength to continue.
