Charlotte Dawson and her fiancé Matt Sarsfield were caught engaging in a tense discussion following the National Television Awards at London's O2 Arena on Tuesday night.

In exclusive footage obtained by the Daily Mail, Sarsfield, 34, was seen walking away from Dawson, 33, after a heated moment inside the venue. Moments later, Dawson appeared frustrated as she followed him to get his attention.
Their intense conversation came just hours after the couple had put on a united front on the red carpet. They posed for Instagram snaps earlier in the evening, with Dawson wearing a white corset gown and Sarsfield dressed in a velour suit jacket and bow tie.

The National Television Awards is an annual British television awards ceremony that celebrates popular television programming in the United Kingdom. The ceremony took place at London's O2 Arena, a landmark indoor entertainment venue situated on the Greenwich Peninsula in south-east London. Representatives for Dawson have been approached by the Daily Mail for comment.
Strains on Their Relationship
The couple, who have been together for eight years, share three young children: five-year-old Noah, three-year-old Jude, and 18-month-old Gigi. Dawson recently opened up about how their relationship is faring a year on from previous difficulties, admitting that things have been tough because they do not have time to talk.

Speaking to Closer magazine, a weekly British lifestyle publication, Dawson explained that family routines have put pressure on their relationship. She said: "Noah's lack of routine and his co-sleeping with us has been quite straining on our relationship as well. He only wants to go to bed when we do, so we don't have that time to talk and have tea together, and that's so important. I feel like once Noah starts school, we'll find us again."
Past Rumours and Sexting Scandal
The pair were previously hit by split rumours back in December after having what was reported as a blazing row. Dawson shut down the speculation at the time, just months after she discovered that Sarsfield had sent intimate text messages to another woman behind her back last year.

Dawson revealed she was left hurt and humiliated after finding out about the texts. Addressing the news during an episode of her podcast, she said: "I've seen the messages... they're not nice, it really hurt."
Just weeks after the news broke, Dawson surprised fans by announcing she was pregnant with their surprise third child. She later gave an update on their relationship, admitting that the couple were taking each day as it comes.
Describing the aftermath of the discovery, Dawson said: "Yeah, it's been It's been emotional, but it's been like an actual rollercoaster everything. But now I feel a lot better. I feel a bit like everything's been lifted a little bit. We're taking each day as it comes obviously we have children together and obviously got another baby on the way and he is trying so I just want to shake him."
Addressing Private Life on Her Podcast
Dawson also commented on her decision to discuss her difficult personal life publicly on her podcast, explaining that she felt it was the best venue to speak directly to her audience.
She said: "I'm open and honest. I think that's just the way I've always been. It was difficult for me to be so open about my private life because I know I'm, like, open about fun things and stuff. So it was quite hard for me, and I felt like the podcast was the best place to do it. It's like my safe space. I had to address it obviously because everyone was talking about it."
Eight-Year Relationship History
Sarsfield is a former professional rugby player who played as a second row forward for the Swinton Lions, a rugby league club based in Swinton, Greater Manchester. Four years ago, the couple appeared together on Celebs Go Dating, a British reality television show broadcast on E4, to work through their relationship problems. Although they split after their appearance on the show, they later reunited.
Sarsfield proposed to Dawson in September 2020, a few months before the birth of their first son, Noah. The engagement took place in front of a statue of her father, the late British comedy star Les Dawson, in the coastal town of Lytham, Lancashire.
