The British press found out that after the scandalous attack on Charles III and Queen consort Camilla, the case did not end with five eggs thrown. There was a reaction from the nearby audience, which made the king look around in confusion.
Police immediately arrested the perpetrator, a 23-year-old student at York University. According to the magazine Hello! people in the neighborhood noticed that the monarch looked back when one of the eggs landed at his feet. The event puzzled His Majesty. Surprisingly, this was followed by loud honking and whistling from the audience.
However, the press claims that the mob did not act against the king, but condemned the attacker. At the same time, the king tried to remain calm, although he was clearly surprised by what had happened.
“Let’s get out of the way. Where are we going?” – he could only say in confusion.
