Deadline: How did you put the game in the series?

Christian bond: It all really started when Alex and I sat down together and thought about which characters we wanted to see on the big screen and delve into their story and their world. Vi and Jinx were characters we worked on with the game design team when they were created. [League of Legends]. There have always been a lot of questions among our players about their relationship as sisters. What happened between them? Why are they now rivals even though they are sisters? It started with all these questions about their relationship and we started getting closer to the world they are in.

Alessio: We both worked in the company for some time before starting this journey. In my case, I spent a lot of time working on building the world of the various champions that were added to the game. There are always so many stories that we have dreamed of telling for so long, but due to the nature of the game, we always felt there was still so much to explore. A big part of this show was finally getting a chance to take them out of the gaming scene and into their personal lives and see what prompted them to choose. We knew what made them champions or heroes, and this was our chance to see what makes them human.

Deadline: Are there major differences between the characters in the games and the show?

Yes: The game is not really a character narrative, and as a player you are really focused on what your enemy is trying to do and the strategy you are using right now. So there really isn’t much room to try and combine character fights and storylines throughout the game. There is a lot more content now, but back then there was just these colorful stories and character biographies that you could read. But we’ve spent a lot of time figuring out what that world is and what a character should be like, from their battle models to the role they play in the pantheon of other characters.

DEADLINE: What were the biggest challenges for you in this project?

Connection: First of all, it has never been done before, and you really have to respect a craft that takes a lifetime to master. Yet, we also understood that we had to define this vision because we know this game and because we are part of the audience. It was terrible, there are so many examples of people who took it and fell face down. So I guess he was alone, how do you tell a great story? A lot of time was spent learning and surrounding yourself with the right people. We knew it was going to be great, but we’ve all seen enough movies and TV shows that look jaw-dropping, but you don’t care. So I think the people who care about these characters, according to Alex, we only heard a few rumors from the line, that was really what we were supposed to get, you know?
