The arrival of New Love Island, Jacques, who is Gemma Owen’s ex-boyfriend, has caused a stir in the village and viewers think there may be a potentially large love triangle on the horizon.
Love Island fans spotted potential complications to the show after Jacques entered the Majorcan mansion to join the cast.
After a rough first week on the ITV2 show, viewers noted that the newcomer’s interaction with Ekin-Su could spark a five-pointed love triangle.
A fan tweeted: “Luca, Gemma, Davide, Ekin-Su, Jacques. What a circle! I’m laughing like crazy, it’s going to be a dramatic season. “
The comment refers to the Love Island couples who have rearranged themselves in the last few episodes.
Gemma was originally paired with Davide, until Ekin-Su arrived and turned heads flirting and fighting with the Italian hunk.
Gemma decided to cast her net further, which meant that she and Luca started getting closer.

At the meeting, Luca went first and chose Gemma, which means that Davide chose Ekin-Su.
However, soon after there were problems in heaven when Gemma’s ex-boyfriend Jacques showed up at the mansion.
He dated Paige and Afia before fully joining the cast and had a chance to talk to Gemma.
Gemma also told the girls that she was still in love with him and later Ekin-Su went piggyback and talked to Jacques one on one.
However, some fans are getting tired of the drama and complaining that other islanders are getting less screen time.
One fan tweeted: “I want more Amber and Dami man. I don’t care about this love triangle, square, rectangle, whatever it is. “
Another frustrated viewer tagged Love Island and told them to “fix it”: “He seems to think all we want to see is the love triangle.” […] Wrong! Unseen Bits was a good watch because it talked about others and they are a lot more fun.
It was reported that Jacques had abandoned his rugby contract to join the show.
He previously played for the Super League team Castleford Tigers but left his team behind to spend a loving summer in the village.
They released an official statement informing fans that the team had “released him from his contract to allow him to pursue another opportunity.”
