HBO Max ordered a new series in the universe of the “Big Bang Theory” – and no, it’s not about Sheldon, Leonard or even Penny.
The main character this time is Stuart Bloom, the owner of a comic shop, always tired and uncomfortable. The new spin-off with the speaking name “Stuart fails to save the universe” at the same time promises to be scientific-fantastic, comical and apparently as strange as possible.
The plot sounds like it was invented by the characters of the original series during the dispute process during dinner. After the final of the “Theory …”, Stuart accidentally breaks a certain device made by Sheldon and Leonard, which launches the multivelensky Armageddon. And now it is a reality for him – with the help of a friend of Denise, Geologist Bert and the quantum physicist Barry Kripke.
The team in the series is as follows:
- Kevin Soussman – Stuart Bloom
- Loren Lapkus – Deniz
- Brian is taken – Bert
- John Ross Bowie – Barry is crying
The producers of the project are FranchiseVeterans Chuck Lorry and Bill Pondi, as well as Zach Penn (“Prepare the first player”). According to them, the series combines the style of science fiction, elements of super hero mythology and “lots of CGI”, which has never been in the original “theory …”. The HBO Max promises “an unexpected continuation of history, in the spirit of which fans love, but with a new visual level and a new approach.”

Chuck Lorry spoke like this:
“I wanted to do something radical. Something that would worship, hate and discuss the characters from the” theory “endlessly.”
What else is known:
- In the series, alternative versions of the heroes of the original composition are possible.
- Whether Jim Parsons or Johnny Gaeca return is not yet clear, but according to the plot it was their characters who created a device, making everything wrong.
- This is already The fourth series In the universe of the “Theory of the Big Bang” after the original, “Young Sheldon” and “The first marriage of George and Mandy.”
It sounds like a new attempt to squeeze everything from a popular comedy to the last cent – this time with the help of secondary heroes, graphics and multi -size. Perhaps the original fans would like to see familiar faces again. Or maybe not.
