Coronation Street actor Charlie de Melo wowed viewers at the British Soap Awards when he showed off a new look on the red carpet.
Her character, Imran Habeeb, was brutally killed in a car accident shortly after her partner, Toyah Battersby, discovered she had a child with Abi Franklin.
When Imran pulled Toyah out of the rubble, he collapsed from a cardiac arrest at the scene while Toyah was in an ambulance.
Through flashbacks, viewers saw Imran confess to a devastated Toyah that he allegedly framed Abi with drugs as he drove them home.
Toyah was seen telling her ex that she hated him before the camera caught the car crashing into a scaffolded building, leading fans to wonder if he accidentally had the car.
The fan favorite is now facing a move away from the cobblestones as she deals with the repercussions of her actions, while Charlie quit the soap opera after five years.
At the star-studded event, Charlie was seen in a completely different way posing on the red carpet after shaving his beard.
The actor stole the show when he met Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah, with the couple posing together for some sweet photos.
Showing off the clean-shaven look, Charlie stole the show in an elegant three-piece dress, while Georgia opted for an emerald-colored dress with an off-the-shoulder design.
When Charlie showed off the new look on social media, he was immediately bombarded with praise from impressed fans.
One said, “Wow, the beard is completely gone!”
One more added: Omg like it’s possible for you to be even MORE beautiful and voila! Love you!
A third agreed: “I love the loss of your beard.”
