Jesy Nelson took to Instagram to dispel the rumors about her solo album circulating while she was in the United States.
The former Little Mix singer left the band in December 2020 and has since pursued a solo career, with a successful debut single.
The star teamed up with rapper Nicki Minaj on her latest single, Boyz, and has been working on her next album ever since.
However, the star felt the need to clarify her career with her 8.8 million Instagram followers after speculations surfaced that her debut song was devoid of music.
He wrote: “I don’t usually comment on things like this because I can’t worry about wasting my energy on complete and utter nonsense, so I’ll address this once and only because I know you’re going crazy.”, And added a smiley face emoji. .
Jesy continued: “I promise you there is absolutely nothing to worry about. I had a great time in the studio in Los Angeles, working on my album which is almost finished. I can’t wait for all of you to hear the next single soon.
She greeted, saying, “So stay tuned. I love you all and thank you for being so patient,” and added a kiss to her fans.
A spokesperson told MailOnline that in the “last few months” the star “has been in the studio to develop her work” and create “a whole series of songs”.
They also said that “fans can rest easy” and “can’t wait to hear some new music from Jesy ‘very soon'”.
The concern comes after Jesy recently returned to the UK after a long stay in the US working on her album.
Nelson returned home the same day his former bandmates played their last gig together as a band.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards had last played across the country as a trio, and on the home stretch they burst into tears.
The group has been together for over a decade and formed during Simon Cowell’s legendary talent show, The X Factor.
