
BBC viewers were bitterly disappointed with lead singer Celeste’s performance of Louis Armstrong’s 1960s classic What A Wonderful World at the Platinum Party at the Palace.
BBC viewers who tuned in to Platinum Party at the Palace were disappointed, with many complaining that Celeste “killed” Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World.
On Saturday (June 4), the biggest names in music gathered for a stellar performance on the third day of the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.
And one of the famous musicians who performed outside Buckingham Palace was none other than 28-year-old Celeste.
But it’s fair to say that fans across the country were bitterly disappointed with the singer’s interpretation of the classic ’60s song when they took to Twitter to share their thoughts online.

While performing outside Buckingham Palace, viewers took to Twitter to share their review of the famous song on social media.
One user wrote: “Was the singer Celeste drunk or that bad? Nothing like ruining a great song. #PlatinumPartyatthePalazzo. “
Another agreed, “What a wonderful world, from Celeste? My ears are bleeding now. I don’t understand why she was asked to sing this song #PlatinumPartyatthePalace.
A third remarked: “I just gawked at a lady named Celeste killing What A Wonderful World. I guess the lack of the right melody was that she made it of her. #PlatinumPartyatthePalazzo. “
“Well, Celeste, whoever she is, she just killed a beautiful world. Criminal, ”groaned a fourth person.

However, many viewers disagreed with the comments as his loyal legion of fans flooded his online defense.
One user said: “I don’t understand why Celeste gets so pissed off about her acting. I think #PlatinumPartyatthePalace sounded good. “
Another wrote: “It seems I was the only one who liked Celeste’s performance. Celeste x Hans Zimmer [love heart emoji] #PlatinumPartyatthePalazzo. “

It comes after viewers criticized Mimi Webb’s choice of song as “inappropriate” after she took the stage to perform one of her hit singles outside Buckingham Palace.
While giving a stellar rendition of her hit single House On Fire, fans of the singer couldn’t help but share their rampage on social media.
