The opera singer again had to deal with a provocation.
Anna Netrebko honestly answered the question about her attitude to honorary regalia.
Recently, the opera diva spoke with representatives of the Western press. She was asked how she compares to state prices. In a conversation with reporters, she made it clear that titles are not an empty phrase for her.
At one time, Anna received two awards – she is a People’s Artist of the Russian Federation and a laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation. Operaster has not denied any honorary titles.
“I have received two awards, which are very prestigious in our country and of which I am very proud. Putin personally handed me both,” the artist said in an interview with Zeit.
Representatives of the Western press asked Chulpan Khamatova a similar question. The actress, who left for Latvia, said that she considers the title of People’s Artist (which she herself owns) “nonsense” and a relic of the past.
It is curious that all this is comparable to the execution of the opera diva’s cunning plan.
