EXCLUSIVE: Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder talked about seeing one of the “no panties” Royals being shown a raw shot at a posh party.
Shaun Ryder recalled the time he was shown a rather crude image of a royal princess.
The Black Grape and Happy Mondays star spoke exclusively with La as she prepared to perform at the Great farm partyI
Speaking of the memorable moment, Shaun said, “I’ve been to some parties where girls liked Beatrice and stuff, but I’ve never met any others.”
Referring to the rumors one of the princesses had shown her, she explained: “Oh no, she didn’t show me, I saw a picture someone took of one of those princesses with no panties.

“We were at that party, yes, like I said, I didn’t take the picture, but someone showed it to me, they translated it as they showed me at the time, but no, it wasn’t.
“I’m sure if this happened to me, I would still have PTSD.”
Shaun also named the palace for their “** bullshit” excuse for why Prince Andrew was not attending the Jubilee celebrations.
Buckingham Palace shared that Prince Andrew will miss a key Jubilee event on Friday May 3 because he contracted Covid-19.

Shaun, 59, said, “I love the queen, she’s been there all my life. I have nothing against the queen, others know they could do without it as far as I’m concerned.
“But as long as they make money, stay with them, but if they stop making money like Andrew, fuck it. But the queen is fantastic. “
Speaking of the recent news that Andrew has contracted Covid, Shaun added: “I hope he has a lot of Covid, hey, so he can’t be at the celebrations anymore. I think it’s fucking nonsense, they found out. One just to keep him away.

Shaun also revealed that Black Grape will be working on a new album later this year.
He added: “The last Black Grape album we did was in 2017, so at the end of this year we will do another Black Grape album at the end of October.”
Black grapes will be the headliner big farm party with Manic Street Preachers, Ibibio Sound Machine, Electric 6, DJ Yoda and Elektra Fence at Scorrier House in Cornwall.
The festival will run until June 5th and will welcome large crowds this jubilee weekend.
