The famous actor does not understand the complaints of the audience.

Considered by many to be one of the greatest action stars in Hollywood history, Sylvester Stallone has made a career out of surviving hundreds of brutal on-screen beatings and explosions. The actor’s filmography is full of critically acclaimed projects, but there are also projects that were met with hostility by experts.

One of the best examples of Sly’s dedication and love for the action genre is the Rambo franchise. Starting with the critically acclaimed First Blood, the actor starred as a seasoned Vietnam War veteran battling inner demons. And while the first three parts avoided the wrath of specialists, the fourth was criticized for what it is worth.

The actor himself in numerous interviews called “Rambo 4” his best work and assured that he had never shot anything cooler and of better quality, but critics of the Hollywood star categorically disagreed and presented four major complaints about the film .

Excessive violence: Many experts noted the excessive brutality and bloody scenes in the film. Some felt that the level of violence was unnecessarily high and shocking.

Simple plot: Critics pointed out the simplicity and predictability of the plot, which they found too banal and lacking in depth.

One-dimensional characters: The film lacked development even for the main characters, and many of the supporting characters were too stereotypical and superficial.

Political aspects: Some critics felt that the film only used the political and social problems of the region (Burma) as a backdrop for violence, without delving into the essence of the conflicts.

However, if you’re not already drawn to action movies, keep an eye out for one of the best new Netflix releases in recent years in the comedy thriller genre.
