Kate’s children – as always: the funniest photos from the parade in honor of Charles III’s birthday

The slimmer Kate Middleton was a real highlight of the Trooping the Color parade, but even without the Princess of Wales the audience had something to see. All three heirs of the future king and queen behaved like real brats this time.

This year’s parade to mark Charles III’s birthday looked different from previous years due to the British monarch’s ongoing health problems. Not all members of the royal family found a place on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, and from the looks of George, Louis and Charlotte you can conclude that they would be happy to miss their grandfather’s celebration.

Middleton’s first public appearance in 2024 will be remembered not only for her spectacular dress, but also for the funny faces of her children. Six-year-old Louis seemed to want to run away from the parade much more than anyone else.

In most of the photos, the little prince makes faces and grimaces – teasing the photographer with his tongue, then pretending to sleep, or looking so stern as if he wants to burn someone with his gaze. And ten-year-old George often behaves much more reserved than his younger brother, but not this time.

The young man imitated dance movements with his hands, or grimaced through the window of the royal procession as he rode to Buckingham Palace, or folded his palms in prayer – perhaps asking to go home as soon as possible. Although 9-year-old Charlotte looked shy compared to her brothers, she also didn’t miss the opportunity to clown around for the camera.

Kate and William did not tolerate the children’s antics, and the paparazzi lenses filmed the future king explaining something to his descendants, apparently trying to calm them down, while their exhausted mother smiled dazzlingly at her British subjects.
