Harry Styles’ new album, Harry’s House, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 after selling more than 521,500 albums in the United States in its first week.
The 28-year-old singer’s new album of the week ending May 26 had its best-selling week in 2022; and fellow artist Adele from Columbia Records sold more than 839,000 for her 30 albums in the week ending November 25, 2021.
The Grammy Award-winning artist’s two previous solo works – his self-titled album in 2017 and Fine Line in 2019 – also debuted at number one in their first week.

The British singer’s latest album broke the record for one-week sales, with more than 182,000 records sold in the United States, the highest number since 1991, according to Luminate tracking data, according to Billboard.
The album broke a record set by Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) last November after more than 114,000 vinyl copies of the record were sold.
Sales of 182,000 records would make Harry’s House the top-selling album on the Billboard 200 this year except for three weeks, the outlet reported.
The release of Styles’ new album was bolstered by the lead single, As It Was, which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 over the past three weeks.
On Sunday, Styles performed songs from his new album on a set for Radio 1’s Big Weekend music festival in Coventry at War Memorial Park, England.
