“Russian Radio” announced the date and location of the most important event of the year, namely the 28th awards ceremony of the most important Russian music prize “Golden Gramophone”.
The event will take place on November 29 within the walls of Crocus Town Hall. The ceremony will be a large-scale show, including, in addition to the awards, the performance of the main hits of the current year in the presence of famous guests.
The Golden Gramophone is traditionally one of the most anticipated events of the year, glorifying the most important achievements of Russian music.
Every year the event is attended by artists whose hits have sunk into the soul of the millions of audiences of Russian radio. Winning the Golden Gramophone is the most important milestone in the career of any artist, as this award places selected songs in the treasury of Russian popular music. The total number of awarded statuettes already amounts to 750 pieces. All known compositions have become immortal, regardless of which era they belong to. Let’s not forget that the award was launched in 1996.
In 2022, the winners of the Golden Gramophone were selected based on new rules. For example, the prestigious prize was awarded to musicians whose compositions topped the eponymous chart on Russian radio at least once. This added color to the award as the number of applicants was significantly expanded.
This year, for the first time in history, the location of the ceremony will be the Crocus City Hall, which has excellent acoustics and meets the highest criteria in terms of organization and facilities.
