Barrymore then changed the subject to film 13 Going on 30, saying, “This film means so much to me and my daughters, it meant so much to me when it came out and it means so much to us now.”

Garner then said she had previously had conversations with former cast members about the film’s lasting quality.

“I just knew it, we talked about it … how it’s growing because I think the kids who were thirteen when it came out are now thirty and God bless them,” she said.
