Jennifer Garner turned 51 on Monday.
And to celebrate, the star was given colorful balloons as she stopped by The Drew Barrymore Show to pocket her new series The Last Thing He Told Me.
The actress – who was recently joined by boyfriend John Miller at a premiere – was also told of a new holiday that has started in her honour.
And the mother of three was given a key to her hometown.
Garner also said during the sit-down interview that Barrymore’s role in Charlie’s Angels inspired her work on Alias.

Although Barrymore surprised her guest with balloons and flowers for her birthday, she told her she had a trick up her sleeve.
The 50 First Dates actress explained, “This surprise is very meaningful and comes from your hometown of Charleston, West Virginia. From now on, April 17th in Charleston will be known as Jennifer Garner Day.”
Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin then made a special appearance to explain the actress’ influence on her hometown, and the artist was also given the key to her hometown.
Barrymore, who donated $25,000 to Save The Children during the episode, and her guest discussed the latter’s time on Alias, which she starred in from 2001-2006.

“You showed me a new way. You showed me something that made me think, “Wait, is that possible? Put me in there, I want to do it.” So nice,” she said.
Garner then spoke about the difficulty of working on the action drama series.
She recalls: ‘Twenty-two episodes a year, every lunch break, I had someone waiting for me to teach me how to fight, teach me a language, how to succeed… it was just so exhausting and it was just heaven to do.’
Barrymore then changed the subject to film 13 Going on 30, saying, “This film means so much to me and my daughters, it meant so much to me when it came out and it means so much to us now.”
Garner then said she had previously had conversations with former cast members about the film’s lasting quality.
“I just knew it, we talked about it … how it’s growing because I think the kids who were thirteen when it came out are now thirty and God bless them,” she said.
