And now, in a new video shared on her YouTube on Wednesday, Molly-Mae has responded to the backlash the name has received by noting: “I got on my feet very quickly, how nasty these people can be .” is .’

She explained: “The name launch was a difficult day for me. I disabled Instagram comments. I was very quickly brought back to my feet by how dirty this world can be.
“Because we literally knew our first girl’s name would be Bambi, we got so used to the idea that it was her name and it wasn’t so unusual for us anymore.
“And I know it’s unusual and unique and it’s not going to be to everyone’s taste, but when we announced it I thought it’s just beautiful, it’s her, she’s Bambi and it’s a beautiful name, wonderful, wonderful.. .
And then, just two seconds after I posted it, I was like, “Oh my god!”

Earlier in the video where she originally held Bambi, she addressed the name as she introduced the toddler to the camera, cooing: “Say hello, I’m Bambi Fury. That’s my name. Some people might not like it , but I love it!’
Molly-Mae took to Instagram late last month to share a photo of her little girl’s name in illuminated letters overlooking her little girl in her crib, after previously admitting that some fans “hate” it.

She captioned the post “Bambi” and a heart emoji.
The name Bambi is of Italian origin and is believed to come from the word “bambino” meaning “child”.

In a previous Q&A on YouTube, she said: “It’s not fictional, it’s not fictional at all, I can’t explain it. It’s just not a name that’s ever been used before. It’s very different and rare and you will either love it or hate it.
“I have been choosing the name since I was a little girl myself. It had always been a dream name for a little girl and luckily when I met Tommy and I told him the name I had always dreamed of, he absolutely loved it too.
“It’s really very unusual and a different name, I don’t know anyone else with that name. I haven’t seen any other girls with that name, it’s so different.”
