Britney Spears posted a series of provocative dance clips to her Instagram account late Friday night, appearing completely topless in one segment before later editing the footage out.
The Oops!…I Did It Again singer, 44, shared a carousel of videos showing her twirling and waving her arms in various states of near-nakedness. In one heavily edited reel, Spears danced bare-chested with digital symbols covering her nipples, wearing only black leggings, boots and a hat.
She kept comments disabled on the post, which received over 60,000 likes from her followers.
Twerking for the Camera
A separate clip showed Spears twerking on the floor to the song Mi Gente while wearing tiny black shorts and a red knot-tied shirt with the words “Not Satan Today” on it. A housekeeper vacuuming in an adjoining room appeared unbothered, not glancing once at the singer during her routine.
Another reel featured Spears dancing in a skimpy bikini in a spa-like setting to classical piano before slapping her derriere with both hands.
The video came a day after Spears suffered a wardrobe malfunction while horseback riding in the California sunshine. Her red off-the-shoulder top slid down during the ride, and she used diamond emojis to cover herself in the footage she shared.
New Business Plans and a Stained Glass Mishap
Spears has also been sharing updates about her personal reinvention. She wrote on Instagram that she is learning to be kinder to herself and is considering starting a business making soaps and candles, while also mulling quitting the platform entirely.
“If you know me, I’m actually a real nerd and I get fascinated with the smallest things,” she wrote alongside images of knitting and art supplies.
In a separate video, Spears attempted to make a stained glass lamp, an effort that ended badly. She said the melting machine blew up and caused a minor explosion, prompting her instructor to tell her she needed to attend a proper practice session. Spears said she kept the damaged lamp for two months before someone threw it away.
“I think creative people are always a bit weird,” she wrote.
A Difficult Year Behind Her
Spears previously said she turned to arts and crafts after what she described as an interesting year involving rehab and legal trouble. She was arrested on March 4 near her home in Ventura County, California, after police received a call about a driver traveling at high speeds and swerving. She pleaded guilty to reckless driving and was sentenced to 12 months of probation and one day of jail, credited as time served.
As part of her plea deal, she was fined $571 and ordered to see a psychologist weekly and a psychiatrist twice a month. She checked into a rehab facility following the arrest.
After resolving the case, Spears returned to Instagram and reflected on the year, saying she may have gone “a bit coo coo in the nest” when she believed she could create her own stained glass. She also said she does most of her crafts in the kitchen, a space she described as carrying emotional significance because it is where family comes together to celebrate, pray and cook.
