Braxton Berrios is setting the record straight after being accused of giving his ex-girlfriend's little brother the silent treatment. The New York Giants wide receiver denied a claim made by Alix Earle's younger brother, Thomas Earle II, during an episode of her family's Netflix reality series Earle Meets World, that he had ignored a text message from the 9-year-old.
The dispute played out in the comments section of TikTok. After a fan of the show, which premiered September 4, asked in a video whether "Braxton ever [texted] Thomas back????", Berrios replied directly underneath the post.
"All love but this was hard to see because it never happened, Thomas is my guy and to this day I've never not replied to him," Berrios wrote.
What Happened on the Show
Alix Earle, 25, and Berrios, 30, broke up in December 2025 after more than two years together. The claim about the unanswered text surfaced on episode three of Earle Meets World, which followed the Earle family on a ski trip taken after the split.
During a family meal shown on the episode, Thomas told his relatives that Berrios had been ignoring his message. "Braxton has been ignoring my text messages," he said. "I said, 'Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.'"
Alix immediately reacted to the news. "And he hasn't answered you?" she asked, to which Thomas replied, "He hasn't seen it."
Alix, who was not pleased to hear her younger brother had allegedly been brushed off, told her ex-boyfriend on camera, "Wait, that's really mean. You don't have to answer to me, but you will answer my brother."
The Season Finale Phone Call
Berrios did answer a different call from Earle in the closing minutes of the season finale, one with far higher stakes than a holiday text. During the call, the Reale Actives founder asked her ex whether there was still any chance the two of them could get back together.
"I know that when we broke up, you said that there was like no chance that we would ever get back together," Earle told Berrios. "And that was just not an option. But, I feel like, it's in the back of my mind or something that I think about."
"And I don't know if it's the healthiest for me that I still feel like there's a possibility, or, I don't know," she continued. "But I just wanted to know if you still feel the same way, 100 percent would never get back together, even if it's like a small percentage. Is that ever something that you think about?"
The exchange left viewers waiting for an answer, but Berrios offered little more than, "Oh, Alix," before the episode cut to credits.
What's Next for Earle Meets World
Earle Meets World follows Alix Earle and her family and streams on Netflix. Whether Berrios and Earle will address the recoupling question further depends on the series returning, and a second season has not yet been confirmed.
Earle and Berrios previously appeared together publicly at the 2023 ESPYS in July, and the pair's relationship included a trip to the Bahamas in November 2023 during a bye week for the Miami Dolphins, the team Berrios played for at the time. He has since joined the New York Giants.
