Only 2 products and only 2 steps: deep brown lip liner and a clear gloss or balm. Sephora’s national makeup artist Gisela Bosque shares some tips for getting the most out of this lip combo made popular by none other than Haley Bieber on TIk Tok.
“The technique couldn’t be simpler: it consists of lining the lips and applying a gloss on top,” explains the Sephora expert. “Swipe the product lightly with your fingertips so that the line of the liner isn’t too hard, and add a little just below your cupid’s bow and in the middle of your lower lip. This way you give more dimension to the lip”, says Gisela Bosque.
“Try to use a creamy liner as it stays longer on the lip and you just need to reapply the gloss to maintain the look,” suggests the Sephora professional. “If you think brown doesn’t suit you, you can opt for other autumn shades that lead to reddish hues. But they should always have that ‘glossy’ look that lip gloss gives them,” concludes Gisela Bosque, Sephora’s National Makeup Artist.
