Television journalist Beatriz Trapote has publicly urged her niece Julia Janeiro to speak out and release her inner pain amid a growing media feud.
Speaking during a public appearance in Andalusia, Trapote offered full backing to the makeup artist as the Janeiro family returns to Spanish television screens after years away from the spotlight.
The public endorsement comes as tension escalates between Julia Janeiro and veteran television personality Belen Esteban in one of the summer's most talked-about media rivalries.
Media return and family support
The feud intensified following reports that Esteban was approached during a secret meeting about an exclusive interview aimed at taking down the young influencer. Janeiro responded by warning Esteban that her own silence was maintained solely out of respect for her sister, Andrea Janeiro, whom Esteban shares with former bullfighter Jesulin de Ubrique.
Trapote, who recently joined the Mediaset Spain program De lunes a viernes as a regular contributor, stepped forward alongside her husband Victor Janeiro to defend her niece during an event in Ubrique. The couple attended a local tribute honoring Andalusian businessman Jose Luis Lopez, known as El Turronero.
While Victor Janeiro maintained his characteristic discretion and allowed his wife to address reporters, Trapote enthusiastically praised her niece in front of microphones from the news agency Europa Press, highlighting the young woman's composure and self-confidence before the cameras.

Trapote said the family was delighted with Julia's television appearances and social media activity. She revealed that she regularly follows her niece's Instagram account, describing her as pure gold and celebrating her youth after seeing a post featuring a container of macaroni.
The journalist suggested that television executives should immediately grant Janeiro her own broadcast program, adding that she would be delighted to join her niece on air as a co-host.
Reflecting on their close bond, Trapote noted that she has known Janeiro since she was three years old and has always considered her like her own child. She expressed pride at seeing her grow into a confident young woman who commands attention whenever she appears on screen.
