Brazilian television presenter Ana Hickmann, 45, underwent a series of aesthetic treatments ahead of her wedding ceremony to chef and presenter Edu Guedes, held on Saturday. Her dermatologist, Bones Goncalves, detailed the procedures used to prepare her for the day.
One of the treatments was XERF, a technology that has been drawing attention in the international beauty market. Originating in South Korea, XERF uses two radiofrequency frequencies that allow practitioners to target different depths of tissue.
Goncalves said the controlled heating stimulates collagen production and works on the firmness and quality of the skin, combining technology with the preservation of natural features.
He said the choice was not random in Hickmann's case. At 45, he said, the presenter is in a phase where naturalness remains one of her main traits, so rather than seeking a transformation for the wedding, the goal was to work on quality, firmness and collagen stimulation while keeping the features that are part of her image.
Botox and other procedures
Goncalves described the treatment as a kind of "technological biostimulator." Hickmann also had other procedures done, having been preparing for the ceremony since the start of the year.
The dermatologist said she also had botox to control her facial expressions. He said her eyebrows are her trademark, so the aim was to keep them arched but without going too far.
In addition, Hickmann had a collagen biostimulator applied for facial support and lifting, and used technologies including micro-focused ultrasound and the Lavieen laser to improve skin quality.
Ana Hickmann and Edu Guedes
Hickmann and Guedes have been together since 2024, after she separated from Alexandre Correa. The former couple were together for 25 years and divorced following accusations of bodily harm and property-related violence.
The relationship with Guedes marked a new phase of rediscovery and affection for the presenter. Hickmann and Guedes married in a civil ceremony in May 2025, and this weekend held a ceremony with family and friends.
The wedding, held on Saturday, took place at Fazenda Casa Gialla, a farm estate in Araras, in the interior of the state of Sao Paulo.
