Amazon Turkey has launched exclusive smartphone discounts for Prime members as part of its Prime Shopping Festival promotion running through October 12.
The promotional campaign features price reductions on handset models from major manufacturers including Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Nothing, and OVİON, with several devices reaching their lowest recorded prices in recent months.
The sales event comes as smartphone prices continue to rise across Turkey, driven by an ongoing memory component crisis. Sector-wide price increases followed recent price adjustments by Apple and Samsung in the Turkish market.
According to the report, discount periods such as the Prime Shopping Festival have become increasingly critical for consumers. Although fewer phone models are discounted this year compared to previous years, recurring price hikes mean current deal prices may not be repeated.
Amazon Prime is a global subscription service offered by e-commerce retailer Amazon, providing members with shipping benefits, digital media streaming, and promotional sales. In Turkey, Amazon operates through its local marketplace Amazon.com.tr, competing against domestic and regional online retailers.
Price difference refund guarantee
Amazon is also reinstating its price difference refund campaign for the shopping event. Prime members who purchase eligible products sold directly by Amazon.com.tr bearing a deal tag between October 5 and October 12 will receive a refund if the item price drops lower after purchase.
Any calculated price difference between the initial purchase price and a lower sale price will be automatically refunded to eligible customers on October 28.
