The 43-year-old former athlete was seen at the event dressed in a brown pantsuit, accessorized with gold jewelry and classic high heels. Gymnasts trained at her Sky Grace academy were among the participants competing in the event held in Saint Petersburg, Russia's second-largest city and cultural center.
Her appearance in Saint Petersburg marks another public outing for the retired sports icon this year. In February, Kabaeva was photographed in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi, where she visited a training session for athletes at the academy. On that occasion, she wore a sportswear outfit paired with gemstone earrings.

Kabaeva is closely involved with the Sky Grace academy, an elite training organization designed to mentor young gymnasts.
