ELLE Décoration enters NFTs with a collection of digital artworks

ELLE Décoration magazine explores Web3 on the occasion of its 35th anniversary. Find out everything you need to know about “D3SIGN CAPSULE”, this event sale that brings together the world of design and new forms of digital art.

ELLE Décoration, the first decoration magazine in France to enter NFTs, brought together 16 artists to give birth to a collection of 16 works produced by an architect-designer and a digital artist. D3SIGN CAPSULE collections and artists can be discovered on the event’s official website. The works are exhibited within the framework of Paris Design Week (8-17 September 2022). These can be viewed at the Hôtel de Soubise (National Archives) in the Marais district of Paris. The scenography of the exhibition is thought to link the classical decor of the space with digital creations. Some of its creators will be accompanied by an object made by the same artist duo who chose to extend their collaboration with a real object.

An auction after the exhibition

These unique works auction on the platform extremely rare. “Opening into the age of NFTs with this ambitious project gives architects and designers the opportunity (…) to spread their imagination and creativity into new territories,” says Danièle Gerkens, editor-in-chief of ELLE Décoration. ELLE Décoration magazine thus strengthens its innovation strategy to better inspire and decipher new trends.
