MadPrime: Understand all about the transphobic versus family planning controversy

See you tonight at 7pm for a new MadPrime on Madmoizelle’s Twitch channel, dedicated to attacks on family planning and anti-trans mobilizations in France.

During this summer, Family Planning has been at the center of a violent wave of cyberbullying for communicating to welcome all people in need of gynecological or pregnancy follow-up, all people, including trans men, who may be suffering from this sexual and reproductive health problem.

Attacks carried out first by the far right, but also by other personalities who declare themselves feminists and who, for some time, have increasingly mobilized against what they call transactivism.

With this new MadPrime on Twitch we invite you to go back to what happened in August, to understand together what these attacks mean but also to analyze why this media and militant sequence is important, to understand the links that have emerged between reactionaries against abortionist circles and activists anti-trans and, finally, analyze the different reactions.

With us tonight two guests to answer all your questions, both feminist activists:

as well as the sociologist Karine Espineiramedia sociologist and researcher specializing in the media construction of trans-identity, through various interventions during the live broadcast.

Do you have questions? Feel free to share them now in the comments.
