Hulu has rebooted the animated series King of the hill a two-season renewal with a 20-episode order. The renewal of the series created by Mike Judge and Greg Daniels will last until season 17.
King of the hill was revived in January 2023 with a 20-episode order with the first 10 episodes of that order (season 14) premiering last summer. Fans showed up for season 14, making it a huge ratings success.
THE King of the hill The Awakening follows Hank and Peggy Hill returning to Arlen, Texas after years of working with propane in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg.
The couple reconnects with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream of becoming a chef in Dallas and enjoying his twenties with his former classmates Connie, Joseph, and Chane.
Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom and Toby Huss voice the animated characters.
The fifteenth season of the animated series will premiere in 2026.
